Dr. Roger D. Green

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Roger D. Green was saved at a very young age, and as a young man, surrendered to the call of God into the Gospel ministry.  He received his elementary and secondary education in Miamisburg, Ohio.  He attended the Cincinnati Baptist Bible Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was ordained into the ministry on May 31, 1969.  He received his Bachelor of Bible Theology from the International Bible Institute and Seminary in Orlando, Florida, a Master of Theology from Marietta Bible College in Marietta, Ohio, Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Studies from Patriot Bible University in Del Norte, Colorado, an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Marietta Bible College in Marietta, Ohio, an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida, an Honorary Doctor of Missiology from the Fundamental Baptist College for Asians in the Philippines, as well as an Honorary Doctor of Theology from Puerto Rico Baptist College in Puerto Rico.

Dr. Green was recognized and honored in the 1989 edition of “Who’s Who in American Christian Leadership” and was listed as an “Honored Professional” in the year 2000 National registration of “Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.”  He has been privileged to speak extensively throughout the United States, as well as internationally, with his main thrust being on “The Home” and “Missions.”  Dr. Green is President of the Independent Baptist Missions to the Asians.

After having served for 7 ½ years as Assistant Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Germantown, Ohio, under the leadership of Dr. C. Marvin Brads, Dr. Green was called to pastor the Green Meadow Bible Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He pastored there for two years and saw that church grow fruitfully under his ministry.  In 1979, he was called to pastor the Sandusky Baptist Temple in Sandusky, Ohio, where he served for over ten years, and God wrought a truly great work to His glory.

In March, 1990, believing it to be the will of God, Dr. Green was called as Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, Ohio.  Under his leadership, the church grew, and its mission endeavors multiplied over and over.

On May 5, 2013, Dr. Roger Green retired from a 23-year pastorate at the Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, Ohio.  He currently serves as staff evangelist.  He is open to accepting meetings such as: missions conferences, family retreats, and revival services.  If you would like to contact Dr. Green for a preaching opportunity, please email him at
